hello guys ,wonder how to connect network based games on your laptop with your friends(wi-fi laptops).Here is an easy solution u dont need to be a part of LAN to play the game .what u have to do is set up a peer to peer connection on your laptop and name it(make it security enabled).i am writing down the procedure below.

1)FIRST create profile name.
2)create wireless network name(any name u want..this is the name that will appear to the person who scans for the available networks...fine).
3)select operating mode to ADHOC networks--(directly connecting with other computers).
4)select personal security as wep-64...not necessary if u dont want security.
5)type in password.
6)fnish it.
now when u are scanning for the networks this network name should also be there in the list.
tell your partner to search for the networks.....hmm he is also able to see the same.
now if he connects to the network by giving the same "PASSWORD" as u set before..vola
both of u are connected......
